Markdown from Beginner to Expert

MarkdownWritingDocumentation

Markdown is the cheapest layer of formatting available when you are writing: it asks you to memorise no layout commands, yet it produces documents that are structured and easy to read. This course starts with the basics — inline formatting and heading levels — and works its way through code blocks, links and images, lists and blockquotes, and tables, before ending with the tools you only reach for when you need them: escaping, footnotes, embedded HTML, and math. Every chapter comes with examples you can type along with, and by the end you should be able to produce a properly structured document on your own rather than just sprinkling a few syntax rules here and there.
